Adam Robson - Youth Coach. Formal Review
I've just finished the course and had a good look through the sessions which came with it. I think it's great and would have been a big help for me when I started out coaching young players. Love the focus on conditioned games and movement away from set drills etc. How many youth coaches out there go on YouTube and see something with cones, poles, mannequins everywhere and try to implement it, then just fall flat in their faces first session! The best teacher is the game itself is a great philosophy to start out with and won't see you go far wrong in my experience. I think the use of videos, diagrams, subtitles is a great combo and you've really catered for lots of different learning styles in the way it's delivered. I love the focus on environment and it being a place which is "psychologically safe" for kids to learn and make mistakes. The pdf download is a big hit for me. Lots of new coaches who've probably never played or trained before just get involved to support their kids and give something back. They often need something like that as a steer and I think the practices in yours are really good. It's well put together, easy to follow and there's at least a season worth of content for them to pick up and use. For me it's a winner and will definitely set people off on the right foot in their journey. Bravo!

This course is NOT just for North Americans - the info provided is perfect for new coaches in ANY country. We need to get kids playing more adapted SSGs. They WANT to play real soccer, and otherwise they'll just walk away.

Coach Adam Kirkpatrick - Port Vale FC
I just bought the course and think its great and very much needed. I was very keen to see the small-sided games ideas as this is what I use most in my coaching. The game ideas you put at one of the modules are brilliant! I really liked Shooting Jackpot and the one where you have cones with conditions at the side of the field. some very creative ideas that will definitely engage and challenge players. I am currently coaching at Port Vale FC and we use a lot of small-sided games. Keep up the good work!

Great message - letting the kids play, adapt (don't stop) the game and create a great environment. Useful SSGs also. Big thumbs up!
